Communities are filled with local rumors and legends. Word on the street might be that the old windmill is haunted, that the mafia does drug deals at the skatepark at night, or that a cryptid stalks the woods. Stories spread like wildfire and imaginations blow things out of proportion all the time.

You will be playing a group of young hooligans exploring one such local legend.  You geared up, snuck out, and made your way there to explore.

The trouble is: nothing interesting happens.

This is unacceptable! All of your friends eagerly await the tale of your daring exploits. Your reputation can’t take a blow like this. It shouldn’t be a problem if you embellish some of the details to make the adventure more interesting…right?

You Won't Believe What Happened is a Tabletop RPG meant to be played in one session by 2-5 players. You will be alternating between truthfully navigating a physical space and roleplaying out the bullshit lie that all of you are making up together. It's meant to be silly and chaotic, and just an excuse to make up fun stuff together for a few hours!
